Retrain your Brain.
How Hypnotherapy can Help
Hypnosis is a skill that can be used to create change. Hypnotic suggestions help to show your brain what needs to change and how to go about making those changes.
Reframing our point of view and our habitual responses are one of the most powerful ways to reduce stress and create change in our lives. Our beliefs (and these can often be unconscious) are the thoughts about reality that we believe to be true.
Often, some of these unconscious beliefs can keep us from being happy and limit us from reaching our goals. Negative thoughts and stress have an impact on not just how we feel about ourselves and others, but also our physical bodies, and we can work to change that.
Using hypnotherapy we can recognise and change the thoughts, beliefs, responses, and attitudes that not only hold us back, but impact our physical health and well-being.

Solution-Focused
When we engage in negative self-talk and negative thinking we actually produce physiological stress in the body, raising cortisol levels along with various other stress hormones.
Solution-focused hypnotherapy utilises the natural power of our own neuroplasticity so that we can learn to think differently, to focus on the positives. When we retrain the brain in this way, not only can we feel happier and mentally lighter we can create an atmosphere within our bodies that creates better overall health at the same time.
We create our own reality, and we believe the stories we tell ourselves. Using solution-focused techniques we can break down our own mental barriers that limit us from the health and happiness that we deserve.
How it works
Sometimes people think they can’t be hypnotised, but that’s really just a bit of a misunderstanding as to what hypnosis is and what it isn’t.
The hypnotic state is totally normal and we go in and out of it, all day every day.
It happens when you watch a movie, read a book, play a video game, or drive a car. It’s the same state you wake up in (who turned the alarm off – spoiler alert, you did!) or right before falling asleep.
Trance and hypnosis, in a nutshell, are when you aren’t entirely conscious, but you aren’t entirely unconscious either.
Think about a time when you were driving for hours, or driving home from work, and you just sort of spaced out. You weren’t unconscious exactly, but you totally zoned out; your subconscious mind ran the show and drove the car.
When you are in a hypnotic state, your mind quiets, your focus narrows, your breathing slows, and you feel incredibly calm. It works, and it works fast because it counters the effect of the stress response with the relaxation response, and you can just chill out.
RETRAIN YOUR BRAIN
Rewire how you think about things through conscious positive thoughts and unconscious positive beliefs.
By making small achievable changes we can alter the firing and wiring of the brain.
Naturally become more peaceful, relaxed, and resilient.
CHANGE YOUR MINDSET
Our mindset is determined by our thoughts. We get what we expect and what we expect is based on our mindset.
Hypnosis and hypnotherapy change our mindset, changing our expectations.
Stressful thoughts trigger anxiety in the mind and that becomes tension stored in our bodies which can manifest into physical illness, unhelpful habits, irritability, fatigue, worry, brain fog, headaches, muscle tension, and trouble sleeping.
FEEL GOOD
The relaxed dreamy hypnotic state feels fabulous.
Relaxing in this way, you are far more suggestible.
Bypass the conscious mind to speak directly to the subconscious.
Improve your physical and mental well-being by feeding the subconscious with positive sensory input.
The Healing Effects of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy
We can train the mind to focus on vibrant positive thoughts
So, let’s say we want to get healthy. What comes to mind? Eat more vegetables? Go to the gym more? Sure, doing those things will help. But what about our minds?
Negative thoughts are the junk food of our minds. You wouldn’t eat cake all day and expect to feel healthy, it’s like that with negative thinking too. Positive thoughts are what create positive outcomes.
Create a strong, flexible, agile, balanced, and more powerful mindset
Through the magic of hypnosis, we can rewire our minds to think in positive ways so that we can engage in small positive lifestyle changes. It is through these small subtle changes that we can reach our goals.
Enter a deeper state of concentration and receptiveness
Like meditation we can set aside normal judgments and sensory reactions, entering a deeper state of focused concentration and receptiveness. However, meditation can take weeks, months, or even years of practice. With hypnosis, relief can be quicker and more dramatic.
Make better choices
Who’s making your choices? It’s you in a way, but mostly it’s your subconscious who’s running the programs, thinking the thoughts, and driving your behaviours. That’s great for maintaining the status quo, but not so effective when you want things to be different.
The problem is, your subconscious may be acting against your best interests because it isn’t wired for thriving, it’s wired for survival.
Hypnosis speaks directly to the subconscious to change the programming, to make better choices.
Have a healthier lifestyle
If you are stressed out and having a bad day, your subconscious won’t direct you to make a salad for dinner, it will direct you to your mates Ben & Jerry. A relaxed, calm, content, and healthy mind makes logical, healthy choices. Through hypnosis and hypnotherapy, we can create a calm mind, setting the stage for healthy choices.
Live your best life. Be the best version of yourself.
If we want to live our best lives, we must cultivate our minds and think positively so that we can be positive.
Hypnosis and hypnotherapy give us the tools to feel good, live our best lives, and be the best version of ourselves.
