Hypnotherapy for Phobias
THE PROBLEM
Break free from fear that doesn't make sense, but still runs the show.
A phobia is an intense, automatic fear response to something that isn't actually a threat. You likely already know this logically, and that's exactly what makes it so frustrating. The fear isn't a choice, and it doesn't respond to reason alone. It's a protective habit your subconscious learned, often years ago, and now runs on autopilot.
Common Phobias I Work With
Fear of flying
Needles & blood (injection phobia)
Spiders & insects
Heights
Enclosed spaces
Public speaking
Driving, motorways, or tunnels
Dogs or other animals
Vomiting (emetophobia)
Medical & dental procedures
Water or swimming
Choking or swallowing
How I Can Help.
Phobias are learned, which means they can be unlearned. Somewhere along the way, your subconscious mind linked a particular trigger to danger, and it's been sounding that alarm ever since, even when there's no real threat present. Hypnotherapy works directly with the subconscious to break that link.
In session, we work calmly and gradually, at a pace that feels safe to you, to change the automatic response your mind has attached to the trigger. Rather than white-knuckling through exposure, you learn to feel genuinely calm around what used to frighten you.
As the fear response fades, so does the avoidance that's been shrinking your world around it, whether that's a holiday you've been putting off, a job opportunity that involves flying, or a simple blood test you've been dreading for years.
You don't have to keep organising your life around a fear that doesn't serve you. Start today and feel the difference quickly.

Simply book a free 15-minute phone consultation (Zoom calls by request) using the link below. From there we can discuss your specific phobia and how I can help. The next step is an Initial Consultation, either in-person or online, followed by 3 weekly 1-hour sessions.
Sessions take place in my office in Knutsford, Cheshire, in a fully private room, or online via Zoom from the comfort of your home. Phobias can often be resolved in as few as four sessions, although this varies depending on individual circumstances.
Sessions are always solution-focused and positive, centred on your goals, and it will always be you who decides when treatment is finished.
